The last 6-7 months have been a complete blur. In one sense, it feels like everything has flown by in a second, but at the same time, it feels like ages ago that we started Profound North. We’ve grown so much in such a short amount of time, personally, professionally, and as a team. It’s incredible to look back at just how far we’ve come since launching. Last week, we decided to block off a full day to reflect. We needed a moment to take a step back and ask ourselves: What’s working? What isn’t? Where do we go from here? Some of the key questions we dug into were: 1. What have been the biggest surprises, good and bad, since starting? 2. How have our personal lives and families handled the extra workload and stress? 3. What kind of company do we want to be as we grow? How do we ensure we keep building something we’re proud of? 4. What must-win battles do we need to focus on for 2025 to stay ahead? Starting this business has been both more exhausting and more rewarding than I ever imagined. It’s a constant challenge, but exactly the kind of challenge I want. Has everything gone according to plan? Absolutely not! But when I look at what we set out to achieve in our first half year, we’ve exceeded our own expectations by a mile. So, will the next 6 months go according to plan? Probably not. But now, we have a roadmap grounded in clear goals and objectives, and I’m confident we’ll keep growing, if not exceeding our goals again. A lot of exciting things are in the works, and I can't wait to see what’s next.

Half a year has flown by in the blink of an eye, and now it’s time to think: what would be your story for the next 6 months of 2024? For me, the past 6 months have been nothing short of surprises: surprises from my trips, surprises from my family members, surprises from my work. But well, isn’t life supposed to be full of surprises? Remarkably, all the surprises haven't deterred me from my original goal for my 2024 - to grow and continuously surpass myself. Instead, they've served as catalysts, propelling me further along my journey of development. It’s definitely not easy to keep myself focused, but I didn’t do it alone. It is because of all the help from the strong support system by my side: my team, my organization, my staff, my family, and my spouse. Reaching your personal goal may seem like a solitary pursuit, but it is important to recognise the collective effort that fuels our aspirations. Wherever you are in our halfway mark through 2024, now is the perfect time for reflection and readjustment. Thus, I invite you to contemplate: What is truly going to make a difference for you this year?
