Among low-risk patients with severe, symptomatic aortic stenosis who underwent TAVR or surgery, there was no significant between-group difference in the two primary composite outcomes , death -stroke or rehospitalization related to valve. TAVI in low-risk patients with severe aortic stenosis compares favourably with surgical aortic valve replacement in terms of all-cause mortality or disabling stroke at 3 years.
