ResC4EU’s Post

Scaberia AS participated at SMM 2024 in Hamburg, Germany, where we engaged in numerous meetings with both new and existing business partners. In addition, we proudly showcased two EU-funded projects: ResC4EU and GreenOffshoreTech. Both EU-funded projects were prominently featured at the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN) booth in Hall 6 and the Federal State of Bremen booth in Hall 7. SMM 2024 (Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology), the world’s leading international trade fair for the maritime industry, drew over 40,000 participants and more than 2,000 exhibitors from 120 countries. Spanning 11 halls and covering 90,000 square meters, this year’s event was hailed as the best SMM ever, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, products, and innovations in shipbuilding, propulsion systems, marine equipment, and offshore technology. Scaberia’s involvement at SMM 2024 reached an all-time high, with numerous meetings and events throughout the exhibition. We also had productive discussions with the “Winner SMEs” of the GreenOffshoreTech project and generated significant interest in the new ResC4EU project, which focuses on creating resilient supply chains for Europe. Additionally, we attended MCN’s “Blaue Stunde,” where key players in the maritime industry gathered. We were also honoured to receive an invitation to the Federal State of Bremen’s reception event at the Top of Hamburg which was a great pleasure and perfect event to be there. In summary, SMM 2024 was a highly successful event for Scaberia AS, filled with exciting meetings, new business opportunities, and promising new EU project initiatives.
