Genetic Counselor, Genomic Policy and Value Researcher, Utilization Management, Medical Affairs, Managed Care and Market Access for Genetic Testing
Top cited article!!!!! 🎉 If you know me, you might know I am driven to understand HOW genetic testing is used and WHO is using it.... So when I recruited a dear student Dominika Bajguz (student at the time, now she's a rockstar Genetic Counselor) to dedicate her thesis research to the utilization of over 4,000 genetic tests, we knew it would be a great project! With the cooperation of the UAMS - University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences genetic counseling program and the utter angels at InformedDNA such as Megan Czarniecki, MS, MA, CGC, this paper was not only a labor of love, but has been highly valuable to the field. Congratulations all on being one of the most frequently cited articles published by the Journal of Genetic Counseling!!!! To think, we actually had to explain and defend this project to staff, journal reviewers, and editors every step of the way!! But we put out some incredible insights that genetic counselors are able to reference to expand our scope of services and provide our expertise in the use of genetic testing.
