Typical month in sales on a driving and warehouse recruitment desk.. "We don't use agencies" (I know you do, as other temp staff have confirmed) "PSL is closed for the next 2 years...(Do we have chance in 2 years time?) "No budget for agencies"...So how much are you spending on internal costs? "Agencies not allowed" ..."Use another accounting cost code..;) "Phone put down" "Don't call me again"....What shall I call you? ;) "We are not planning to change agencies" It's ok, we will work with them :) "Phone put down" "Your industry doesn't add value" Then why is there a £55 billion UK industry? "Agencies don't answer our calls at 2am" Try me, call me tomorrow at 2am? "Agencies don't tell check their staff in" We-Staff check in at anytime of day! "Phone put down" At We-Staff, our ultimate objective, is to help our clients find the best qualified and suitable candidate for the position that is vacant. How often do you get given a price for something and then negotiate that price? Would you walk into a supermarket and start negotiating the price of a tin of beans (although this should definitely be a thing)? Do you go to buy a brand new car and then negotiate the price of said car? I would assume not. When you send a proposal and quote for work do you then negotiate to get the work? I would also assume not. So please stop trying to dictate to a recruiter what you will pay for their services. We send our terms for transparency. They're not up for negotiation. When you try and dictate to a recruiter what you will pay and when. Makes us question how much you actually value our services and your people.
