Hay everybody, the 9th of July is Cow Appreciation Day! To celebrate we thought we’d give you a behind-the-scenes look at our animation project for @Supercell’s farm simulator game HayDay. Did you know we do animation? That’s right! Supercell wanted a traditional 2D animation style that would contrast with their usual 3D promos. I've been working on a handy script for Maya that helps create breakdowns or inbetween poses between keyframes. You can pick which channels to interpolate right from the channel box and play around with an interactive slider to see the changes in real-time. Plus, it lets you anticipate and overshoot poses for that extra touch of realism or cartoony animation.
