SNR G126.2+1.6, skillfully processed by Jon Gascoyne is a faint, shell-type supernova remnant (SNR) in the Milky Way Galaxy, discovered in 2010 using radio observations. Located in the constellation Cassiopeia, it spans about 90 arcminutes in diameter. This remnant, likely the aftermath of a supernova explosion thousands of years ago, is characterized by its weak radio emissions and filamentary structure. Roughly 55 million light-years away to galaxy NGC 4216 (https://lnkd.in/eu8Tkzyg) in the Virgo cluster. 55,000,000 light-years divided by 4.24 light years = 12,971,698 light years base divider times 6,300 years to reach the nearest exoplanet... If the math is correct, this would mean that if one were attempting to travel to galaxy NGC 4216 using conventional #space #propulsionsystems currently known to date... it would take your rocket (assuming you could carry enough fuel - lol), it would take your conventional spacecraft of today... 81,721,698,113.2 years to reach galaxy NGC 4216 (even using Elon's/#SpaceX multibillion #valuated #spacetech). In more simpler math terms: that's 81 billion 721.7 million odd years to traverse this universal spatial distance between Earth and galaxy NGC 4216 using conventional rocketry. Are you kidding? M65 and M66, discovered by Charles Messier in 1780, are bright and easily observed with small telescopes. M65 has a smooth, elongated shape, while M66 features prominent spiral arms and a central bar. NGC 3628, discovered by William Herschel in 1784, is viewed edge-on, exhibiting a thick dust lane along its plane.
