🚨How To Report Spam Text Messages🚨 If you get an unwanted text message, there are three ways to report it: 1. Copy the message and forward it to 7726 (SPAM). This helps your wireless provider spot and block similar messages in the future. (See example below) 2. Report it on the messaging app you use. Look for the option to report junk or spam. 3. Report it to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Doing something is better than nothing. 😎 #fraudprevention #fraudfriday

The FBI has warned that QR codes are being altered to send users to malicious sites to steal login and financial information. If scanning a physical QR code, make sure a sticker wasn’t placed on top of the original code. Once you scan a QR code, check the URL to make sure it’s the intended site. Also, don’t download an app from a QR code. It’s more secure to download from your phone's app store.

In a continuing demonstration of the importance of strong and privacy-protective communications, the federal Foreign Interference Commission has created a Signal account to receive confidential information. > Encrypted Messaging > For those who may feel more comfortable providing information to the Commission using encrypted means, they may do so through the Signal – Private Messenger app. Those who already have a Signal account can contact the Commission using our username below.
