In our recent work, we tackled critical challenges in modern power distribution systems, particularly the vulnerability to cyber anomalies. Our proposed model, the Physics-Informed Convolutional Autoencoder (PIConvAE), integrates physical principles directly into the neural network in the systems with high penetration of renewable energy sources to: ✔️ Achieve more accurate anomaly detection results. ✔️ Require less training time for convergence. ✔️ Effectively detect a wide range of stealth attack magnitudes. 📖 Read the full paper here: https://lnkd.in/edNz8zj6

Hertz considered this a “scientific phenomenon,” and did not realize its potential as a communication method.
