Miguel Angel Maestre Gil, Assistant Director at RENOLIT, tells us about the new Centre for Imaging and Radiodiagnosis project in Avilés, Asturias. "The objective was to have an easily accessible roof in case of any work on the membrane, and at the same time to have an accessible floor with built-in insulation for its speed of execution and versatility in installing elements on the roof that would not damage the waterproof membrane." The system with a high insulation thickness (15 cm) created with a walkable and adjustable floor allows all types of elements (ventilation equipment, machinery, etc...) to be installed on the roof, which, resting on the neoprene, prevent the transmission of vibrations and, given the high occupancy of the equipment on the roof, the possibility of high foot traffic for maintenance of the installations.
