We don't know about you, but our LinkedIn feed is littered with companies and colleagues inviting us to visit them in Vegas (ANDMORE). If you took everyone up on all those offers, you'd be visiting showrooms 24/7 - no time for sleeping or dining out. Phew! Instead of inviting you to visit us - though we certainly hope you will - we'd like to offer some solid Vegas survival advice. 1. Plan ahead. Map out your showroom visits before leaving home. Add in buffer time for delays and spontaneous visits. You can't visit everyone but prioritizing your top pics will ensure you don't miss the essentials. 2. Arrive sleep ready. Nap on the plane to help you adjust time zones. Ask for a room away from the ice machine and elevators. Relax before bed to help your mind unwind - keep your bed as a sleep-only zone! 3. Practice moderation. It's easy to indulge in alcohol in Vegas - too easy - so budget your intake and stick to it. Same with caffeine or sugary drinks you wouldn't normally indulge in at home. Water is your BFF in Vegas! 4. Exercise. You may not have time for the gym but opting for the stairs instead of the elevator or parking further away from your destination will help keep your body moving. 5. Practice acceptance. St. Francis of Assisi had it right when he prayed to accept what he couldn't change. Map out your plan, practice healthy habits and forgive yourself if it all goes by the wayside. The jetlag crash will be waiting for you at home, welcoming you with open arms :-) See y'all in Vegas!

Answer this… Do you associate the color red with anger 😡 or love ❤️? Red is vibrant, warm, joyful, energetic, and intense all at the same time. Some people see it as a color of danger, fire, and anger, while others see it as passion, seduction, and love. This color is also physically arresting, causing blood pressure to spike, breathing to heighten, and increases your circulation and metabolism. Our reactions and emotional response is very personal, so when using red in your home it becomes very selective. For instance, if you have a red dining room, you may be more apt to overeat. Red in an exercise room may help you raise the intensity level of your workout and subconsciously push you to endure more. However, red in the bedroom can cause anxiety and unrest, giving you a higher chance at a poor night’s sleep. Color is a very personal experience, so make sure you check in with yourself when deciding to decorate with red❤️ I’d love to know how you feel about RED, so hit me up in the comments and let’s chat about it. #red #redroom #colortheory #wellbydesign #wellnessdesign #healthyhome #livebetterlonger #healthylife #womenshealth #wellness #healthylifestyle #healthymehealthywe #wellnessdesigngroup #wellnesscoach #healthcoach #midlifewomen #longevity #healthymadeeasy #healthyaging #midlifehealth #menopauserelief #naplesfl #paradisecoast #redefineaging

5:38 A.M. *Ding* I rolled over in bed to check my phone. My throat felt like sandpaper. I winced in pain every time I tried to swallow. The water bottle on my nightstand felt like an oasis in the desert. I'd been fighting a nasty case of strep throat for the last 4 days - I barely slept. I took a quick drink before finally checking my phone. "Who could possibly be texting me at this hour?” I always keep my phone on Do Not Disturb, so the person that sent this text at this hour decided it was so urgent that they hit that little “Notify anyways” button. Thankfully, it wasn’t an emergency. It was actually incredible news. One of my clients texted me. "We just sold our first hot tub from SEO!!” Most hot tubs cost somewhere between $3k and $6k. But apparently, they can cost as much as $45,000. This particular hot tub was one of those. A luxury hot tub if you will. So while this wasn’t an emergency, it was worth waking up before my alarm. I texted him back, then went back to sleep for another hour or so. This is the beauty of SEO. Even on the sickest of days, when I can hardly swallow and struggle to get out of bed, SEO still works. It works while you sleep. And let me tell you, there is no better feeling than making money while you sleep. This brand uses the exact same SEO framework that I use for all of my agency clients. And the same framework that I teach in 5 Hour SEO. And it still works, even with a $45,000 price tag. I’m confident it will work for you. To making money while you sleep. Click the link below.

How do you find calm in an instant? Following inspiration gained from the #Samaritans #BrewMonday initiative, I wanted to share a way that I use every day for myself, with friends, clients, or colleagues to find that place of calm amidst life chaos. That point of balance. Drinking a cup of tea, coffee, or any other beverage is something most people do as part of their daily routine. It's a simple yet effective way to take a break and relax. If you're interested, I've created a free mindful drinking exercise called Cup Of Calm (c) You can download the text or the sound version of the exercise. Allow yourself the luxury of just 5-15 minutes. Ideally, use this exercise when you are looking out the window or actually being outside in nature. If you want to take it a step further, I've also created a Cup of Calm doodle reflective play sheet that you can use after your mindful cuppa. You can download the exercise and the play sheet by visiting the links below. https://lnkd.in/e3nDWwHg https://lnkd.in/e9TQ9dbe Happy to see your comments and photos of your calm cup. 😀 #CupOfCalm #MindfulDrinking #Calm #StressReduction #YourOwnTrueNature
