Make one "Searchable!" A federal partner with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, asked me to pass along this advice for those with federal resumes on USAJOBS. "I'm not sure if advertisements to hiring events have any verbiage about their USAJOBS resumes being searchable but I wanted to ask if you could encourage job seekers to make their resumes searchable in USAJOBS? When it's searchable we can enter their name and pull the resume directly from USAJOBS. It also helps us obtain email addresses if the email address isn’t legible from the hiring fair or comes back as undeliverable. The screenshot below just shows what they should see if they want hiring managers to be able to find their resume." #USAJOBS
