🚨 Impact of Quick Commerce on Kirana Stores 🚨 The rise of quick commerce is taking a toll on our local kirana stores, particularly in metro cities. Many of these cherished family-run businesses are facing closures as they struggle to compete with the speed and convenience offered by larger platforms. It's important to recognize the role these stores play in our communities. Let’s find ways to support them and ensure they can thrive alongside new retail models. How can we help preserve our local shops? #KiranaStores #QuickCommerce #SupportLocal #CommunityImpact #recuby

Breaking!!! Someone almost died today at Ebonyi State Shopping Mall due to heat (No ventilation) A shopper just collapsed at Ebonyi Shopping Mall (See Video 👇) Let me once again use this medium on behalf of the suffering shop owners and shoppers at the Mall to beg Mr. Eze Igwe the manager of @3rdRetail company managing the Mall, and Hon. Nwogbaga Dunstan the SSA to the Governor on Ebonyi Shopping Mall to up their duty as the news out there about the Mall is very pathetic; hearing that a whole Ebonyi State Shopping Mall is having these kinds of summontable challenges for too a long time without any form of remedy. People are crying, shop owners are regretting ever investing their money in such a place. Everything promised them when they were moving in at first have all been abandoned. It's very bad that no one have been able to lift a finger in finding a solution to the issues I raised in my earlier posts facing the Mall. The situation there, is really getting worse. Today, somebody almost lost her life due to heat. All the air conditioners installed at the Mall have not been working for a long time now. And no one is taking the blame. Citizens at the Mall are left with no other option than to put the whole blame on FON government. My people, from now on let's trend this hashtag until it gets to the appropriate quarters. 👉 #SaveEbonyiMall 👈 Something has to be done ✅ Ebonyi Mall has to work like every other Mall in other states. Ours is not different 💔 Like I mentioned earlier, in case you missed my earlier post, the Mall is experiencing👇 1. Epileptic Power supply 2. Zero security 3. Zero sanitization (general poor services) 4. High/outrageous service charges #SaveEbonyiMall #SaveEbonyiMall #SaveEbonyiMall #SaveEbonyiMall Igiri Innocent Abakaliki 13/4/2024

Building Sportify & IIPLeM | Blurring the line between Food & Medicine via GFCFSF Innovations | Scientist cum Bootstrapped Entrepreneur | Ex-Novozymes | Ex-Britannia | Ex-Heinz
Deepinder’s video is a testimonial that founder/founding team is extremely critical to run the show even if the valuation tomorrow reaches a decacorn status. Entrepreneurial journey is not a perk, it’s a junoon and responsibility. Founders should not hire people to just share the workload when in a scale-up position. No founder is redundant in a business which he/she has passionately built until exit happens or death. Building systems etc is importance at certain scale but the business will suffer if the fire 🔥 in belly of the founding team has died down. Just building a startup so that it’s acquirable is a body without a soul. I have been running a curated e-marketplace - IIPLeM since 2022 and I know what pain points are there for the pick-up and delivery 📦 persons. We also know what goof-up happens by them as well. We also know how an online customer can act like an oversmart entity and be non-empathetic as well to our delivery partners. In e-commerce, the dynamics is ever evolving and I think other than the scale-factor, the humane-factor at every touch point is so important rather than being just 100% transactional approach. Hope the budhijeevi community should not consider this as a PR stunt and be generous in their praise to Zomato’s Founder. We need more such moments of passionate entrepreneurial spirit being captured and served to the community. In past, I think I seen similar real-life endeavour videos by founders like Anmol Jaggi, Bhavish Aggarwal, Binny Bansal etc #Founder #FoundingTeam #Entrepreneur #EntrepreneurialSpirit
During my second order, I realised that we need to work with malls more closely to improve working conditions for all delivery partners. And malls also need to be more humane to delivery partners. What do you think?

This is an amazing step taken by Deepinder Goyal, hats off to you. As business owner, you must get into the ground reality, and not just always being entangled with finding financiers. One must know what is impacting your business, your employees and customers at the end level.

“This is what real founders do!” I've seen co-founders get caught up in office politics, chatting away in Slack groups, adding and removing LinkedIn connections as people come and go, and hiring or firing employees daily just to chase unrealistic targets for products with no proper R&D. What happens next? They run out of candidates, having already hired and fired most of therelevant talent in the market—thanks to internal chaos. While startups can be exciting, they’re also messy. Founders like Deepinder Goyal stand out by making a real difference with a more thoughtful, conventional approach. #startup #LeadershipMatters #FoundersMindset #Entrepreneurship #BusinessGrowth #Innovation #BusinessStrategy

It's important for the higher ups in the business to dive down to the ground level and feel what's exactly going well and what's not. A bird's eye view from the top doesn't show the complete picture. Also, asking the people on the ground what is going wrong, may not lead you to the right answers. Solving for these ground level problems can strengthen the foundation for your business strategies. Great example set by Deepinder Goyal at #Zomato

1moBrilliant, that's how it should be, went into a stationary store over the weekend, not a brand name, a privateer, and the store attendant greeted me with a smile, and was very helpful, I made a point to commend him on his service, as well as the lady behind the counter, who was just as friendly. My point is, is I will always go back to this store, because it has a positive vibe to it, because of the great service I received, which is lacking today. At the end of the day, its the small things that matter.
