The government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) scaled a fresh high of 12 million orders in July and daily orders peaked at about 430,000, said people with knowledge of the matter. About 4.4 million of the orders recorded during the month were from the mobility domain while the balance 7.6 million from non-mobility domain, they said. Kiko Live continues to play a pivotal role in the growth of ONDC, as the network hit a new milestone of 12 million orders in July. Today, Timo von Focht and I left the MarTech bubble... Not forever, but for a couple of hours. We visited the EuroCIS - The Leading Trade Fair for Retail Technology and got a deep dive into Retail Tech! One thing that stood out for me: The Digital World needs the physical world more than ever. If we want to finally fill the 360 customer profiles that the MarTech bubble has been working on for years, we need real data from the physical world. If we want to realize one of my most favourite Movable Ink use case (Show real time product availability at my closest store), we need a digital cash desk that talks to the ERP system that then talks back to us. Almost every vendor we met had some kind of offering around digital cash desks or dynamic pricing. Special thanks to our partners GK AIR for showing us around. Super happy to be back in my MarTech Bubble now, in order to create 1:1 experiences from the data that these guys are generating for us.
