In the process of recovering from trauma, it's essential to understand that the goal isn't to erase the past but to navigate forward despite its impact. It's about acknowledging the struggles and using them as catalysts for growth and resilience. An open mind is embodied and impressional/malleable/plasticity/changeable/pliant-non-compliant. Who is doing the conducting? Whose rules of thumb am I acquiescent to? How do I engage/cede to? To have and to exercise power means to be able - in different degrees - to influence, use, determine, occupy or seal off the space of reasons for others' (Rainer Forst 2017, p. 42). How is my intended/intentional flight going? Some of us came into the world; a roll of the dice, in very stressed and rowdy and violent conditions. The term biopsychism is very related to embodied/enacting mind. However, the optimal drivers of performance are also buffered and even withered in sociological context. Inhibited awareness of our social fields is inevitable in an 'apprenticeship by way of the body' 'weights of the world' creates reflex profiles of inhibition, acceleration etc - our rising bundle of dynamic energy. Sometimes the burdens of heritage can reduce our capacity for judgement, where we may submit to a summit/summons that is not a good fit. Habits of feeling/thought take possession in our self-relation/reflection with others in the world. Victim impacts come up against disbelief/disaffiliation; idealistic future proofing codes may narrow our horizons of thought and feel dispossessing, ambivalent and vague/ambiguous. Universal trauma theory is often not embedded in the signifiers and indexicals of our local niche/terrains? Whose version of universal authenticity? Recognition of what? The signatures and fonts of some traditions were spoiling; ideas around misfits; ill-suited; depraved; intrinsically disordered; unmentionable, etc. Traditions with enforced and coercive expectations 'who are we to question but to accept' (The Countrywoman Banned Book 1962). Admonishing contexts change everything; impacting our traits, the percolating modulation of our feelings; construing is brittle¬ fixed (struggles of indeterminacy). In some regions, contexts leave little or no room for manoeuvre (war zones). More generally, whose relational and regulatory depth ideas act as deep seated future proofing, contouring the gradient, acting as accepted cornerstones, creating intelligibility/recognisability, summoning practices&hailing us into being someone/nobody? "The spaces which are unwritten are anything but empty. They are the places where deeper power lives, where the “more” of living experience refuses to be ruled by the “less” of what can be written. . . . These unwritten spaces pull with the power of a star’s gravity, drawing everything into orbit around themselves." DOW EDGERTON, The Passion of Interpretation Das (2007) anthropological and ethnographical reflections are useful to describe ‘it narrates the lives of particular persons and communities who are deeply embedded in these events, and it describes the way that the event attaches itself with its tentacles into everyday life and folds into the recesses of the ordinary’ (p. 1).
