🚨 Case Report: Successful Treatment of Basilar Artery Occlusion Using Zylox-Tonbridge Cylone™ and Thrombite™ devices 🚨 We are pleased to share a case featuring the successful treatment of a 38-year-old male patient with sudden unconsciousness for 3 hours (NIHSS score: 19, pc-ASPECT score: 10). 🔍 Procedure Overview Diagnostic: Left vertebral artery angiography confirmed basilar artery occlusion. 📚 Steps: Aspiration performed twice with partial recanalization of the basilar artery. Emboli redirected to posterior cerebral arteries (PCA) bilaterally. Microcatheter guided to P3 segments of right and left PCA. Recanalization achieved via a combination of pulling and thrombectomy. #StrokeTreatment #MedicalInnovation #HealthcareExcellence #BasilarArteryOcclusion

(A). In aortic dissection with intimal flap tear without thrombus formation, patient will be presenting only with pain. (B). More extensive tear will result in intraluminal and subintimal thrombus formation, therefore, thromboembolic event is more common in this group. (C). In dissecting aneurysm, the wall tear will extend into subadventitial region, and the adventitia will be weakened and widened, resulting in the subadventitial aneurysm limited by the adventitia. (D). Without intimal tear, intramural thrombus may occur by leakage from vaso vasorum within media layer in arteriopathic patients. #aorticdissection #echofirst #cardiacimaging #aha #cci #sonography #echocardiography

🚨 **Case Success Story: Elderly Gentleman with Severe Claudication** 🚶♂️ A patient presented with severe claudication in his right lower limb and a small ischemic ulcer on his great toe. CT angiography revealed an occlusion in the mid-segment of the right superficial femoral artery (SFA) 🩺, with distal reformation via collaterals. Using an antegrade approach, we crossed the SFA occlusion with a 0.14" BMW wire and performed a 6mm balloon angioplasty 💉. This successfully restored good antegrade flow and improved foot perfusion 👣. Post-procedure, the patient's claudication resolved, and he was discharged just two days later! 🏥 #InterventionalRadiology #PatientCare #SuccessStory #HealthcareInnovation 🌟#angioplasty #cli #peripheralarterialdisease

Anti-spasmodic medication (Buscopan) can significantly enhance the quality and diagnostic accuracy of abdominal MRI scans. These medications help to relax smooth muscle tissue within the gastrointestinal tract, reducing involuntary contractions and motion artifacts that can obscure or distort the images. This relaxation allows for clearer, more detailed visualization of abdominal organs and structures, leading to more precise assessment and diagnosis. #MRI #AmericanHospital #Albania #Buscopan #BeforeAfter

A day of firsts in UK, congratulations to Professor Alex Green from the John Radcliffe Hospital and Dr Barani G from Leeds Teaching Hospital and their entire SCS teams for completing the first Eterna™ SCS system implants today. We're proud to partner with you in offering this technology to patients. The Eterna™ SCS System is up to 58% smaller than other rechargeable SCS systems,1* which could be a more comfortable option for chronic pain patients.2 This latest spinal cord stimulation (SCS) innovation from @Abbott|Neuromodulation is now available in the UK.
