There’s no greater endorsement of our retirement communities than knowing that our CEO, Dr. Brett Robinson recommends one for his very own mum, Heather. “Moving into a retirement village is about maintaining your independence, having privacy and social connection, as well as access to care and support when you need it. My family and I have peace of mind knowing that Mum is now supported and thriving at Drayton Villas Retirement Village. She is a different woman from what she was following Dad's passing. She is surrounded by a community with a vibrant social environment. Mum has always been a people person and has thrown herself immediately into the community and is living the life that she wants for herself in her own home.”
Love this story . It can be too late to move . We love helping clients at RetireAustralia like your mum make that transition easy Design with Dignity . We hope she is very happy in her new home .
Yes my Mum loved her 6 years in a RetireAustralia village, amazing the life she had during that last 6 years of her life.
Love this Brett and RetireAustralia! No doubt your Mum will too. My dad and his wife are in a retirement village and call it one of the best decisions they've ever made. Well done again and congrats.
The “mum test” is a real thing. Well done Brett and RetireAustralia.

1moGreat post Brett, and the best endorsement for living in a retirement village. I was irritated watching the 7.30 report as consumers make so many purchases that aren't always about capital gain however the lifestyle they deliver. Thousands of Australians own boats which are not investments however give families some of their greatest memories of summer days on the water or new car purchases that lose 60% of their value in 3 years however no one hears them being talked about as rorts. My father lived a lonely existence in his own home until he passed and I would have loved for him to enjoy the social connection and support a Village Manager offers. Retirement Villages are an investment in a lifestyle with research proving residents are happier in this environment.
