Sometimes in life, you have to change directions. This past week was a prime example of that. As a first-time founder, I made the difficult decision to let go of my temporary team. It wasn’t easy. But sometimes, pivoting is the only way forward. Now, the focus is on solidifying our new strategy at Limpiar. We’re evolving. These next few days and weeks will be about sharpening our vision and aligning the team to push forward. Change can be hard, but it’s necessary for growth. Here’s to new directions and fresh beginnings. P.S. If you’ve had to pivot recently, how did you handle it? #diaryofafirsttimefounder

One of the big conversations we're having at WillKate lately is about navigating the journey after handing down the family business. This phase, which we call "Life 2.0", is more than just retirement; it's about rediscovering your identity and purpose beyond the business. Handing over the reins of a family business you've built can stir a mix of emotions, from pride to uncertainty. The real challenge often lies in envisioning your life beyond daily business operations. What does fulfillment look like in your Life 2.0? How do you transition from a hands-on business leader to a guide and mentor for the next generation? At WillKate, we focus on helping you pivot your mindset, utilizing your experience in new, fulfilling ways while respecting the new leadership. Whether it's finding roles in governance, exploring new hobbies, or spending more intentional time with family, Life 2.0 opens a world of possibilities. —- **Above is an excerpt from a past WillKate newsletter where we explore the transition to Life 2.0 after handing down the family business. We share these insights and more with over 1,000 dedicated family enterprise leaders every month through our newsletter. 🚀 Every voice counts at Life Moments. Co-founders Ben Leonard and Paul Carse take that very seriously. That's why they host a Co-Founders breakfast for the youngest members of the team 🚀 At the Co-Founders breakfast, our early-careers team members are encouraged to: ✨ share their thoughts about the business ✨ come up with ideas of what we can do better ✨ challenge the Founders ✨ share any questions they have for them (Of course, this goes hand-in-hand with lighthearted comments on topics such as breakfast choices and weekend activities...) At Life Moments we believe that hearing perspectives from all members of the team, including juniors, is good for both the development of the business, as well as individual professional development. Giving colleagues a safe, relaxed space to voice their thoughts and ideas is key to this, and something we do a lot of. When we can, we do it over breakfast 🥐 🍎 #fintech #startup #team #leadership #playlifebetter

Starting a company can be lonely at the top. Who do you turn to for a sounding board, accountability, or guidance? As we navigate ambitious back-to-school growth goals and growth hiring, I've been turning to Silvia Oviedo Lopez. An invaluable mentor, Silvia has been a guiding light in building Curious Cardinals. Her brilliance in community building and marketing is matched by her exceptional leadership. Silvia’s experience at powerhouses like Pinterest and Canva is impressive, but what stands out is her knack for making big things happen with minimal resources—a true startup superpower. People often ask, "How can you build and lead a company without prior experience?" The answer: it takes a village. Mentors like Silvia are instrumental in navigating every high and low. And here’s a special touch: we mentor the children of our mentors! Pictured is Silvia’s daughter with us, a beautiful reminder of the cycle of learning and growth. 🌱 #MentorMonday #Gratitude #Leadership #StartupJourney #CuriousCardinals

| Menstrual Educator | Social Impact Fellow at Project Antigone | Final Year Law Student | Gender Rights Advocate |
If you want to start an organization, become best friends with documentation! Last weekend, we completed one week of our social impact fellowship program. The weekends haven't been this much fun, exciting, and full of insights for me in a long time. On June 9th, I attended a workshop on Leadership and Team Development conducted by Niyati Sharma. Here are the key points she covered that were very informative for me: • Who is a leader? • Why does everyone want to be one? • Who are you leading? And why? She also shared some valuable advice on team management: • Different types of team members need to be managed differently. • You are the only permanent member of your organization. • Get comfortable with being alone, even when you have co-founders. • Consistency is everything; keep going and keep doing what you are doing. • Keep making decisions, keep moving forward - one step at a time. After that, we had panelists who spoke on "Becoming a Social Entrepreneur: Strategic Insights for Aspiring Founders." Saloni Bhutra shared lessons learned from the mistakes she made while starting her journey as a social entrepreneur: • Do not use any country's name in your organization's name. • Do not give big positions too quickly; take it slow. • Document as much as possible. • Start building visibility for yourself; it will help in building others' trust in your initiative. De-Mario Knowles shared his biggest takeaways: • Finding your niche is very important. • Define your expectations and values. • Do not be afraid of putting yourself out there. • Step out of your comfort zone. • Try networking and reaching out to people. • Find hashtags related to your niche. All the lessons from the speakers have provided valuable insights that will greatly impact my journey in the field of social impact. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed speakers for sharing such valuable and insightful lessons from their experiences. Additionally, I want to express my sincere appreciation to the dedicated team of Re-Defined and Project Antigone, Ritika Saraswat, Khyati Kapur, and Mannat Dhodi, Pia Chalikwar for their exceptional efforts in organizing this social impact fellowship program. #Socialentrepreneurship #Leadershipdevelopment #Teammanagement #Changemakers #Socialchange #Fellowship LinkedIn LinkedIn Social Impact LinkedIn for Nonprofits

"From day one, my goal as a founder has been to create something truly impactful—something that doesn’t just meet expectations but redefines them. Every challenge along the way has been a chance to innovate, and every success a reminder of the incredible team and clients who make it all possible. What started as a dream has evolved into a thriving reality, and I couldn't be more proud of the journey we’ve embarked on together. As we continue to grow, my focus remains the same: pushing creative boundaries, delivering exceptional results, and building a company that inspires. Together, we’re creating a legacy that will last. #FounderMindset #LeadershipInAction #InnovationJourney #Teamwork #CreatingImpact"

Everyone says luck is when preparation meets opportunity. What they leave out is it often takes courage and action as well. All the training, education, and any other preparation is useless unless you can pull the trigger. People often find themselves in a preparation loop. Stop it. You are not going to learn everything without DOING! Action is what creates results. I’m pivoting after 20 years in the same industry. It was intimidating at first, but I have momentum. I’m learning more by trying and coming up short than I ever could from reading alone. I am now excited for each engagement. It’s an opportunity for feedback and challenge. #impactinvesting #CREinvesting #growth
