⛳ REV was honored to be a platinum sponsor of the 28th Annual WMHS Foundation Golf Classic in support of UPMC Western Maryland. The event raised over $225,000 to benefit patients of the Schwab Family Cancer Center. These funds, including REV's $15,000 donation, will allow the center to purchase new radiation technologies to combat breast cancer and provide vital services to their cancer patients.   REV employees on our Development and Origination teams participated in the golf tournament. We love to see our employees living our values and making a difference in our communities!

🎉 REV celebrates the operation of our Jade Meadow I solar facility on reclaimed coal mine land in Frostburg, Maryland. Maryland Gov. Wes Moore commented, “REV Renewables’ Jade Meadow I solar project is a model for how the state and our local communities can work together to help grow Maryland’s clean energy economy.” “Jade Meadow I demonstrates REV’s commitment to finding innovative solutions to siting renewable energy on reclaimed coal mine land while investing in Maryland’s communities and energy future. REV was pleased to partner with Vanguard Energy Partners LLC (VEP) for this presentation at Mountain Ridge High School. In addition to the training on our Jade Meadow solar facility, Hunter J. Maret (Project Manager at REV) and the team at VEP answered questions on all things #solarpower from the school's AP Environmental Science class & Green Team. It was great to connect with the next generation of clean energy leaders and give perspective on our growing industry, where countless new #solarjobs are being added each month for High School Seniors to choose from to grow into a career.   We are also excited to announce our donation of a solar module to the school for teaching purposes. We hope the students enjoyed the presentation and we look forward to future opportunities to engage with the local community in Western Maryland!

REV had a fantastic time at #CLEANPOWER24 last week in Minneapolis. Cody Hill, REV's SVP of Battery Systems, participated in an excellent panel discussion on the many complexities involved in developing #energystorage projects. Congratulations Cody (pictured on the right) on a very well-attended and engaging session!   We are looking forward to attending next year's event and connecting with others at the forefront of the #cleanenergytransition. 

REV Conference Round Up 🎤   Edward Sondey, REV Renewables’ CEO, was part of the keynote discussion at Voltility's US Energy Storage Market Outlook 2024 in Houston, where he gave insight on how REV is navigating the future of the US #energystorage market.   Paul Torgerson, our CFO, spoke at NPM US (New Project Media)'s 2024 US Development & Finance Forum in Houston. He joined a panel on the next generation of capital investment, discussing investment drivers in new technologies and what platforms we can expect investors to be deploying capital into in 2024.   Sandeep Arora, SVP for Transmission & Markets, represented REV at two recent conferences. At the Energy Storage Summit USA in Austin, he took part in a panel on co-locating energy assets and at last week's Large Scale Solar Series in Dallas, Sandeep & the panelists discussed grid considerations and interconnection reforms. REV joins Google, Microsoft, The AES Corporation, Constellation, Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, TC Energy, Jupiter Power, National Grid, LevelTen Energy, and ICE, in supporting the GC Trading Alliance. The Alliance is a collaborative effort that is building the transaction infrastructure to buy, sell, and track hourly carbon-free energy via "granular certificates".  This is an important initiative creating the market signals we need to accelerate the transition to a clean energy future! https://lnkd.in/gWEcUtui

This Veterans Day, we honor the many remarkable veterans at REV, including José Mena and Patrick Krah. These two veterans recently transitioned into renewables and now make up a vital part of our workforce. José, currently a warrant officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and a former Army solider, serves as the site manager at Tumbleweed Energy Storage, while Patrick, a U.S. Navy veteran, excels as an Energy Storage Technician at Gateway Energy Storage. Their journey from military service to the renewable energy sector (and cutting-edge energy storage at that) is commendable. REV is really proud of our partnership with the Town of Queen Creek Fire & Medical Department in Arizona, and we recently donated these wireless tools for their use. The LUNAR device detects air quality levels, provides thermal imaging and more – making it easier to navigate through environments with low visibility and stay connected when it matters most.
