really nice and amazing video with great appreciation and very inspiring and motivational information video Inspiring and supporting people with dementia requires patience, empathy, and understanding. Here are some ways you can uplift them: 1. **Focus on Positive Memories**: Engage them in conversations about happy memories, old photographs, or music from their past. Familiarity can spark joy and comfort. 2. **Be Present and Patient**: Spend time with them without rushing or correcting their memory lapses. Gentle, loving interaction can make them feel secure and valued. 3. **Use Simple Communication**: Speak clearly and slowly, using simple words. Listen actively and maintain eye contact, offering reassurance and warmth. 4. **Encourage Activities They Enjoy**: Engage them in meaningful activities they once loved, like painting, gardening, or listening to music. Even simple tasks can help them feel a sense of purpose. 5. **Create a Calm Environment**: Surround them with soothing music, scents, and soft lighting to reduce confusion or agitation. 6. **Celebrate Small Victories**: Celebrate their accomplishments, no matter how small. This can boost their confidence and sense of self-worth. 7. **Involve Them in Social Activities**: Encourage safe social interactions, whether it’s through group activities or spending time with family. Isolation can worsen dementia, while socializing can uplift spirits. 8. **Be Compassionate**: Understand their struggles and frustrations. Show love and kindness in every interaction, as emotional connection remains strong even when memory fades. Through love, patience, and positive engagement, you can bring joy and inspiration to someone living with dementia.

In the journey of professional growth, one of the most valuable assets isn't just your skill set but the people you surround yourself with. Choose to connect with individuals who will not only recognize your potential but also advocate for you in rooms filled with opportunities. Networking is more than just collecting contacts; it's about building relationships with people who will mention your name positively when you're not there. These advocates can open doors to new possibilities, helping your career to flourish. Who’s speaking up for you in your absence? Let’s cultivate connections that matter, not just for the sake of networking, but for building a supportive community that champions each other’s success.#Networking #CareerGrowth #Advocacy #ProfessionalDevelopment

Great leaders lift up those around them. Not everyone is used to this, I've had teams initially suspicious of me when I have raised them up and supported their growth - they weren't used to it. I've also had managers who have questioned why I'm promoting the development of my teams 🤯 I'm extremely proud of all the people I have found, mentored and managed over the years. They have continued to blossom and are doing amazing things. Leaders always lift their teams and enable their people to do great things. Poor, middle managers (or want to be managers) who are out of their depth control teams, claim their successes and hold them back from achieving great things. In doing so, they damage the individual, the team and the business. #shame When businesses focus on digital transformations they often forget about people transformations. If you don't have leaders (in title or behaviour) who back people, and most importantly trust each other, you don't have any teams and that's bad for business. #buildingstrongteams #peopleareyourbusiness #growth #ceo #coo #designyourbusiness #digitaltransformation
