📍Still job searching? Do not despair. ----- Two students just confirmed with me that they got job offers: one as a scrum master and the other as a business analyst. The interesting thing about the scrum master offer is that the interview was conducted about a year ago. The recruiter called out of the blue in March 2024 and asked if she was still in the market for a job. And she answered, "Yes." Without further questioning, she was given a verbal offer and, subsequently, a written offer. I could imagine how she felt when she did not hear from the interviewers after the interview. Sometimes, when you do not hear from an interview, reach out to them. If you still do not hear from them, please move on. But, one thing you should not do is beat yourself up, thinking you are not the best candidate for the job. Do not give up. Do not despair. That rejection or silence after an application or job interview might not be a true reflection of your fit for the job. The right job that recognizes your value will locate you soon. If you are about to lose hope in your job search journey, this is me extending hope to you. Do not despair. Keep putting in the work. Regards.
