Hi Team, We have a requirement for a standard deskside support engineer in Germany for an initial 3-month period to start ASAP, standard 40 hours per week on-site. Selection process will be for CVs to be submitted; internal interviews with SHI technical team, and then end client interview. Same engineer will need to attend each day, and billing will be monthly in arrears. Location : Berlin, Germany Site type: Office, around ~50 employees present on any given day Device Count: ~1000 globally at the company User Count: ~790 employees globally Skill set: Standard deskside support. Customer is looking to have someone that can physically ship items and be in the office 40 hours per week, inspect the office daily for issues, provide hands on 1st level support at least to end users who walk up or submit requests. The support person would be mostly supporting things in the local physical office, in person, but we do have a need to support remote users as well as needed. Call stats: Everything is done via Slack, Zoom, Jira ServiceDesk – Customer has urgent issues via Slack and regular requests/incidents via tickets in Jira ServiceDesk - Typically around ~100 new tickets come in a week globally. Estate type: MacBook or Lenovo PC - employees in the office get a desk with monitor, keyboard, and mouse to use. (waiting for details on the split) Spares: Customer supply hardware from our offices directly and ship out or provide physically, all inventory is on-premise also Triaging: Customer has a structure of support internally, they would not need to outsource for issues that they encounter with a vendor. Customer has local IT support in the same office, including engineers that Customer can talk to for IT issues. Response time: Customer has internal SLAs to follow for requests/incidents - they would need someone to be onsite full time and adhere to internal SLAs Support requirements: Customer would need to train engineer on internal procedures so same engineer must attend on a daily basis.
