I've literally put up about 50,000, probably 100,000 posters or flyers through the years. For a long time, it was the number one way we got students at Pan Theater. We let people know about our performing troupes and shows, posting anywhere from San Jose up to Sonoma and Napa. To be honest, I just find making posters, looking at posters, and going in all the coffee shops to be a lot of fun. That's how we started really growing as a theater—through posters and flyers. If you have an improv class, improv theater, acting classes, writing classes, or anything like that, everyone talks about digital marketing like Facebook and Google ads, but posters and flyers work too. If you have the time to distribute them yourself or use a flyer service like Thumbtack Bugle, they can help get the word out. Over time, it compounds, people start to remember you, and your presence grows. As you're building up your classes, shows, and everything else, definitely consider flyers and posters. They've done wonders for Pan Theater. Even these days, as we move more and more towards digital, we're still doing a good portion of our marketing with flyers and posters. Here's the scoop. These industry trade shows with big home theater demos... I am not interested in sitting through it if the person giving the presentation is going to say that "you cannot take pictures or video because of copyright issues." Here's my message to anybody putting together a home theater demo where press is invited: License some top-notch b-roll where you have the rights, because without photos and maybe some video of the actual demo, there's a lot less motivation to put together a social post or article. I don't want to just write "blah, blah, blah, during the demo the latest Tom Cruise movie looked and sounded great." I want to show people what the demo theater looked like, even if it's technically impossible to convey what it is like to be there in real life.

Legendary is often an over used term however in this instance only right. franz stahl of Scream, Washington, D.C. punk band are touring U.K. next month. Franz was in The Foo Fighters previously and Dave Grohl was Scream’s drummer b4 Nirvana. Anyways cut to now and Dave has signed and plays on Scream’s new album.
