Breaking ground on Pier 36! 10 240 kW fast chargers coming right off the FDR Drive in Lower Manhattan, complete later this summer. Our first installation of Kempower equipment.

Simple & cost-effective products, that solve the main pain-point (read vandalism & theft) work great. I haven't seen a simpler public EV charger. Perhaps with Milwaukee having 14 snow days, they might want to design a more conical top. #evcharging #ProductDesign #Design

And just like that, it’s finally operational!! Our first demonstration pole mounted L2 chargers have gone up in Milwaukie! As demonstrated a user would scan a QR code to activate the session dropping the charging chord. A trigger on the handle allows you to extend the chord up to 25 feet to reach anywhere on the EV! Huge shoutout to Nicholas Morrow for helping get this across the finish line and helping navigate the construction world. Also than you Eva DeCesaro for modeling! And many many thanks for ALL the different folk at PGE (current and prior) who have helped make this a reality! These installs been a long time coming and I can’t wait to get more of these out there and operational for more drivers to use. **Please do not use video without consent!
