We create magic, everyday, and on schedule. No limits, built to amaze, can’t believe it is real, magic. For this one let the clients pay for the build, Martha Stewart meets Life Styles Of The Rich And Famous, with a few Make A Wish projects… Innovative, or on brand, show what our people are capable of, in humanizing, engaging narrative that pulls back the curtain on the Hollywood process. From on lot, to anywhere anytime. Design consult to full build. I’d watch that. Even if it’s just following existing crews on our day to day projects, still new… still interesting. Still watchable. At BIMTECH Media we thought a fun way to showcase the companies services and passions would be a poster design series. We have chosen a clean and tasteful style of minimalism for series 1. Each series will be rendered in their own unique aesthetic, and each poster will be released alongside our most anticipated new films. Warner Bros. Entertainment's Dune Part Two is the first film in this series, as it was released today! What did everyone think? Did it live up to your expectations? BIMTECH Media's Ross Hartley saw the midnight release and said this: "Dune Part Two truly is an epic cinematic event, in the same breath as Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, that only comes around once a decade - a synthesis of gifted filmmakers, incredible characters, action and design, brought to life by an immaculately cast roster of all-star talent. A strong reason why agency life is so hectic, is due to pressure from the brand side. A lot of the time, the pressure is understandable and we happily comply, hoping that their event is a success, their deck presentation goes well.... it's as if we're rooting for them to do well from the shadows. We experience joy and exultation when someone from the brand side comes and tells us, that the event went well, the work was appreciated, the audience loved it, the deck presentation received a standing ovation from the seniors, and so on and so forth. At other times, we just as easily fall prey to their impossible deadlines (and occasionally, indecipherable feedback), some of them even have the crazy entitlement to make us work weekends (which turns our days into an endless loop of work, work, work and no rest or learning at all), the silence from people who should be pushing back... some things just really need to change. We are human beings. We have a limit to everything. Why should we ever glorify or justify overwork, whether we're on the agency side or the brand side? Makes zero sense to me why brand side people do not see us as... people. I eat, sleep, have friends and family just like you do! Your urgent deliverable that was to go out on Wednesday is still facing multiple edits and change-of-brief until Friday! Which I am MORE than happy to comply with. I'm here to make your work shine and will dedicate myself fully to it. But please introspect - was your "urgent" deadline really that urgent at all? Or was it an exercise in Ego, because you have an agency, are paying them, and can make them dance to your whims? This little piece of introspection is so necessary and humanizing. Once you humanize the agency people you work with, you'll get such better work, into which we will be able to put in double the heart and double the love. We do love the work. You have to let us some time and space to do justice to that love of the work.
If you are a brand who’s ever asked your creative agency to wrap up 3 films in 24 hours to save studio and space costs thus making them work overnight, then please do not outrage about a professional losing her life because she was made to work long hours without a break.
