Revive Environmental is Leading the Fight Against "#ForeverChemicals" We are proud to partner with New Hampshire #firedepartments to tackle the challenge of safely disposing of #PFAS, the so-called "forever chemicals" found in firefighting foam, #AFFF. Yesterday in Concord, NH, we facilitated a special collection event, offering our innovative disposal solution that effectively destroys these hazardous substances, ensuring they don’t end up in landfills or incinerators. As State of NH Dept of Environmental Services Commissioner Bob Scott stated, “It was really important for us not to leave a legacy of liability... and we are thrilled to have a process where we can actually see this destroyed.” Throughout this month, we are supporting ten PFAS collection events across New Hampshire, driving forward environmental responsibility and public safety. Discover how we are making a difference and watch the segment broadcast yesterday evening on WCAX3 below. #ReviveEnvironmental #MakingPFASHistory

🌍 Adapting to New Environmental Regulations with RFP! 🌍 At Mayfair Compliance Group, we’re committed to environmental responsibility and compliance. A new law will soon affect all extinguisher service contracts, prohibiting the discharge of foam compound into the water system. Instead, foam must be incinerated to prevent environmental harm. Companies that fail to comply will face heavy fines. In response, our subsidiary, Regis Fire Protection (RFP), will be transitioning from foam to water extinguishers where possible. However, certain areas will still require foam extinguishers. There will be a one-off charge for the disposal and incineration of foam, which unfortunately will have to be passed on to the client. We support these changes for a cleaner, safer environment. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/e5ggtxma #EnvironmentalCompliance #MCG #Sustainability

As usual, there is always environmental work to be done. A few days ago, 1,600 gallons of firefighting foam containing PFAS spilled into a pond and began to blow through the air. "To me, the bigger concern is not the immediate cleanup, but the fact that this is going to add to the already not insignificant amount of PFAS and other dangerous chemicals that are in the soils and the waters," Klingle said. According to public documents, the foam should be cleaned up by October. Stay healthy as we learn more about this clean up project. #environment #environmentalcleanup

Site awareness. Having fanciful gulley products doesn't stop the migration of silts to the watercourse or suspended solids. In 2024, the EPA is set to intensify audits and inspections of facilities with NPDES permits in Pennsylvania. This action follows a lawsuit between Maryland and the EPA, highlighting Pennsylvania's challenges in meeting Chesapeake Bay TMDL pollution reduction goals. Under the settlement, the EPA will enhance compliance-assurance activities in Pennsylvania's Tier I Counties (Lancaster and York) and Tier II Counties (Franklin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Centre, and Bedford). This includes increased federal inspections, investigations, and compliance evaluations of NPDES-permitted sources. Visit our website to learn more about these developments and how ARRO can help ensure your facility is audit-ready! #NPDES #WaterQuality #StormwaterManagement #ChesapeakeBay #EPAAudit
