“We lost no clients, we lost no employees, we didn’t lose a dollar…Q4 was the largest quarter in the history of REVOLT, and 2023 was the best advertising year we’ve had in the history of REVOLT. In all ways it was record-breaking, even in the middle of a crisis.”
To the advertising, media agency and affiliate partners who have stood by us during this season: Thank you. You didn’t have to, but you did, and for that, I will be forever grateful. Thanks to your support, the company is more stable today than it has ever been before.

REVOLT My case is in Thomson Reuters Westlaw
I was placed on admistrative leave with pay for 9 months and subsequently fired from the Central Intelligence Agency #ODNI in 2014 after 11 years of government service for exposing & making a rap song about #racism in the #CIA "Closed Letter: Racism in the CIA" available on all digital music streaming services by yours truly Stevieweevie. In an unrelated matter the CIA ignored and did not address hardly any of the contents in my EEOC EEOC FED E-NEWS complaint although they have a zero tolerance policy of harrasment in the agency. I subsequently lost a final decision, appeal and reconsideration after 5 years of originally filing; 4 years after being fired. My lawyer; Donald King, a concentrated specialist; he only took on EEOC cases of federal government employees who filed EEOC complaints against the federal government. Mr. King had been practicing #EEOCLAW for over 30 years; said, he never had a case against the #CIA and he never had a government agency completely & totally ignore everything in the compliant let alone bring up 💩 that had nothing to do with the case at hand. #Racism #Harrasment #HostileWorkEnvironment and #FailuretoAccommodate basis of #EEOC Writing a book & script

Ok. I see yaw all in the comments kissing butt and not asking what we all want to know about this, so I will.
Detavio Samuels to be honest. It's all making sense now. Where is the damn apology?
Not to the victims, nor the suspect hires and support recipients, but the apology for those of us you guys have dismissed and rejected FOR NOT playing the games???
Those of us who suffer in silence.
Those of us with li gering hostility.
Where is our apology?
I wish you guys worked with more black American creators and media folks around the world who are real. Not only the ones in your circles and who are part of your controversial clicks/parties.
Makes some of us wonder, what we got to do to get a break with yaw?
It makes us think...hmmm...maybe, that's why we didn't and can't get in?!
That's why we see the same people getting opportunities. Makes us even question you and your position, brother.
Real Talk.
We hope this wakes you up to your rank culture and guilt, or perhaps shame make you all do the right things now.
Though Revolt is new....there are a lot of us who have been in the industry for decades, but refuse to play the games, and somehow seem to always be neglected.
Now we and everyone knows why.
It's gate keepers like your founder, Diddy (he is only a gatekeeper...the drama goes much much deeper) that have not just hurt people who have been close to him, but have devastated people who refused to play around -but are truly talented.
The damage to us is worse.
Congrats. It's great you're doing well. It's great REVOLT is balling. But, that's never been the issue.
All of yaw have always been the ballers, while we scrap and beg, and don't know why. That's the whole reason we question anything that Diddy touches and creates.
I think, a article or statement about the integrity and the honest inclusion is what we need. Not a sales brag.
Cause many of us who have tried for decades to make it on our own merit, but have never accomplished it...we now know why.
We know that saying, "NO" or "I'm good" can be career death sentence.
So, just like we tell white folks...let's see some morality growth, genuine diversity and see some un-solicited inclusion.
DEI ain't just for black and white issues.
Give real-talent a chance, let real-world talent in, and look at the world...not just Diddy's bedroom or "networking" events.
Then and only then, will we forgive and believe you.
I'm just sayin'

Viewing objects and items in magazines, online, on television, and in films can impact people’s sense of self.
For those of us who struggle to control our shopping, we may find ourselves compulsively buying things to elevate our status – or even to gain external approval from friends, family, or even complete strangers online.
And advertising impacts us by promising us a reprieve from life’s issues by telling us “if you buy this product, you’ll be happy just like the person in the ad.” As far as “retail therapy” or “treat yourself” mindsets go, it’s important to keep in mind that making purchases – even if it initially feels good – is a very temporary high … on a very slippery slope.

Love this article.
As a coach, I spend my time encouraging advisers to spend less time focusing on product and more on solution.
I get advisers to bring protection to life for clients by telling stories and focusing on how the benefit would be used not what the product is and how it works.
The best way to engage customers with protection is to bring the concept to life, make it real, make it relatable and make it, well, engaging, full stop.
Take a look at the article below (link in the IPTF post comments).

What was your favourite fairy tale or childhood story? We're certain you could recall one straight away when asked to think about it.
That's the power of stories. They're memorable.
It's a theme we'll be talking about a lot more over the coming months as we remember the 7Families campaign but before then, Co-Chair Jo Miller reflects on why stories are such a powerful tool in this piece from Money Marketing (link in comments).
Are your clients prepared for a potential plot twist in their story?

We're fed MANY, many ads, every day. Since I've started working in marketing, I've really made a point to take note of the ads that stop me in my tracks. Video ads on Youtube are some of the most commonly, and easily skipped, so when I feel compelled to watch to the end, it's a really strong one.
Here's one from A&W that I watched without skipping a few days ago, and have thought of every day since.
A few things that work about it:
- Nostalgia: this appeals even to an older audience, because we remember these days (and likely fondly).
- Hope: why are we obsessed with dating reality TV? We may love the drama, but we're also, as Taylor Swift says, living for the hope of it all.
- Branding: I think I missed the neon A&W sign the first time, but even without it the overall orange and brown tones let me know who I was watching right away. A&W historically has good commercials (and I LOVE their food,) so I'm hooked.
- Community: It's not just about the kids on their date... It's their burger family! Their friends are watching from the car, which is also compelling.
I really love this ad, and it'll be top of mind for a long time to come. Anything else I missed about it that's doing heavy lifting?

What does “shopping like a billionaire” really mean? According to TEMU, it looks like it means you willingly purchase from platforms that don’t have policies in place to protect against forced labor and strict enough seller regulations to ensure small businesses aren’t getting ripped off. Wait…that doesn’t seem right…..
Friendly reminder that flashy marketing and catchy advertising can’t hide what a business actually stands for(and lacks). My advice? Maybe companies should spend their efforts getting their purpose and values in check before spending money attracting eyeballs—and the scrutiny that comes with em. Putting the cart before the horse has never been productive, after all.
And PSA to consumers, there’s a human at the other end of your online purchase at some point. Remember that and demand better before you buy in.
