One of which is Tiny Tickers 'The Tiny Hearts Charity' and I had the pleasure of chatting with Aimee Foster about their recent legacy campaign with Octopus Legacy for our latest Leg up for Legacies blog. Plus she shared some of her top tips for other small charities looking to launch a legacy campaign including: 📚 Do your research: Before starting your campaign, take a look at what other charities are doing - look at their websites and social media and get a feel for what is possible and what you think would land best with your supporters. The Leg up for Legacies community is also really helpful and contains many useful blog posts and webinars. 🗣 Drip feed the message: Make sure your whole team is comfortable with talking to supporters about legacy giving and drip-feed it into all your comms. It often takes a while to see results, but the more familiar your supporters are with your campaign, what you offer and how it makes a difference, the more legacy pledges you are likely to receive. Our local and international clients range from various industries like Finance and Banking, Lifestyle and the most relevant to the question at hand, CHARITIES. Charities, ladies, gentlemen and non-binaries, are our frequent clients as they often resonate with a larger portion of the community, which we also make up. We often learn quite a bit from the way charities choose to fight their battles. For instance, whilst below-the-line marketing means that we represent clients and thus, inevitably have to deal with outdated rejections that make us go "Really? In this day and age?", the team is trained to always leave prospects on a good note because simply put, "it just isn't our battle to fight". How do you choose to contribute to the triple bottom line?

We view it as the foundation for everything that comes afterward. Like in construction, if your foundations aren't there, your house will collapse.
