Missed SLAS earlier this month? Make sure to download our poster! From the 3rd to 7th February, we were in Boston for the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) International Conference, discussing our work with human iPSC technology for research and drug discovery. Alongside discussions on quality iPSC manufacturing, functional QC and in vitro models, we presented a poster titled "Differentiation of multiple iPSC lines to different cell types to enable cohort analysis in neurodegeneration: challenges and learnings". Listen to our Project Manager, Sian Humphreys presenting the key findings in the poster: https://hubs.la/Q02m2bc70 Click here to download the poster: https://hubs.la/Q02m24Zy0 #iPSCs #SLAS #biotech #StemCells #DrugDiscovery

"Make or break questions for a drug discovery project often come down to, “does modulating this target do what we want?” and, “what else does modulating this target do?” In order to answer those questions quickly and make drug discovery decisions with confidence, an understanding of target engagement and corresponding on- and off-target effects on biology is critical. Let’s enable drug discovery together by embracing new possibilities in target acquisition and innovation, streamlining research processes, and achieving reliable, consistent results. And more is yet to come. What are you waiting for?
𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗠𝗣™ 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 Working with complex membrane proteins, like GPCRs and ion channels, is a major challenge in drug discovery. These targets are vital for many biological processes yet notoriously difficult to handle, especially when 𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 add layers of complexity. This Summer, the NativeMP™ Targets have changed the game by maintaining membrane proteins in their native environment—enabling high-quality assays, deep insights into 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻-𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, and application versatility at physiological conditions. We were already able to present data from a wide array of protein classes, acquired detergent-free, rapidly solubilized, and stabilized directly from the cell. Even large and complex targets, such as 𝗧𝗟𝗥𝟱, 𝗔𝗕𝗖𝗔𝟭𝟮, or coexpression of 𝗜𝗧𝗚𝗕𝟯/𝗔𝗩 have been possible. And more is yet to come. What are you waiting for? 👉 Let’s enable drug discovery together by embracing new possibilities in target acquisition and innovation, streamlining research processes, and achieving reliable, consistent results. #drugdiscovery #membraneproteins #nativeMP
