it's 7 a.m.. Your day off. You had a long, hard week at work, but now you're finally able to sleep in you��re snoozing like a sweet little baby cherub angel, when all of a sudden you're rudely awakened by (LOUD NOISE) We've all been here. It's the worst. Gas powered lawn equipment is so loud. Did you know that the sound produced by leaf blowers is capable of traveling up to 800ft? That's more than two football fields in length! Really? Yes! I'm not surprised, but that's pretty bananas. Right? Hey, you know, let me take it from here. Please proceed. Okay. To make my point, I'm going to deliver this next fact in front of both a gas powered lawn mower and an electric lawn mower. First, the gas one (LOUD NOISE Inaudible narration) ...and as it goes out of frame. Okay, that's that's that's much better. And now let's hear the electric lawn mower. Ahhhh! It's just a little sweet baby little gentle noise. I can still hear the birds chirping, it��s not super obnoxious, Yeah. Noise pollution has been shown to increase the risk of hypertension. Noise as loud as leaf blowers can damage your hearing, according to the CDC. From 50ft away, electric blowers are only half as loud. And that's just the (LOUD NOISE) We haven't even talked about the carbon emissions from gas powered lawn equipment. Ready for some bonkers facts? Lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and other gas-powered landscaping equipment emitted 30 million tons of carbon dioxide in 2020, recent report found. That's roughly seven times the carbon dioxide emissions of an average coal power plant. If all gas lawn equipment was electric for a year, it would be like getting 6,477,348 gas powered passenger vehicles off the road. Some gas lawn mower and leaf blower engines produce far more pollution than driving a car or truck for the same amount of time. It's just a car versus the little baby lawnmower, it's more pollution. What the heck? So yeah, the case for electric Lawn equipment. Is clear. Winter scenes are often dominated by bright snow, which can trick your camera's metering system into underexposing the shot. Quick fix: use exposure compensation to add +1 or +1.5 stops of light.
