How can you protect your TA teammates and manage fluctuation in demand? Here are some tips to help you build flexibility into your strategy, whether your TA team is 0-5 people, or 100+, with flexible teammates. 1. Consider if your requirements will be busier or quieter at different times. 2. Take into account seasonal peaks in your industry. 3. Use data to project the percentage of replacement hires. 4. For larger businesses, are there occasional pockets of hiring that fall outside your RPO's remit? One solution is to have one trusted partner that you have onboarded before, who has people already calibrated with your team. This partner can help you switch on/off as needed and is a great way to flex up/flex down your capacity. By permanently building flexibility into your strategy, you can protect your TA teammates in times of change and manage fluctuations in demand. #embedded #rpo #talentacquisition #hiring #poweredbypeople the rec hub.

This is a great post Rex - thanks for sharing. The best TA/Recruiter partnerships emerge when there is a clear mutual understanding that it follows the pattern above. So many recruiters see TA as an obstacle to somehow get 'around' - but the reality is that TA exists to fill the main bulk of positions internally, and will want have trusted relationships with a select few agencies (or even just one) who can be there to support when needed.
