Having assisted Scott and the board with their strategic planning process, I know these resources will be used effectively
We extend a huge thank you to Assistance League of Atlanta, which has recently partnered with 3Keys to donate essential items for our residents. This partnership means that our residents—many of whom arrive with little to nothing more than the clothes they are wearing—will receive welcome kits with new bedding, shower shoes, pots and pans, laundry pods, towels, and much more. Assistance League of Atlanta is also assisting with our activities program by donating supplies that enable us to continue offering meaningful activities for our residents. Partnerships like this are critical in helping us support our residents as they transition from homelessness to stability. #endhomelessness #nonprofitpartnerships

✨Did you know that if you have a pacemaker, you can include it in your Will to be donated to a dog in need after you pass away? Although pacemakers cannot be used for another human ( in the Unites States), they can help dogs with heart problems and potentially save their lives. Many pacemakers are simply thrown away, and dogs may die because people do not know about this option. Donating the pacemaker can even save the dog's owner the cost of a new one, which can sometimes make a crucial difference in affording life-saving treatment. Here is an article that offers more information. https://lnkd.in/e-vGs5cg

Check out Thundergong! 2024 and what you can do to help! The more I find out about it, the clearer it's become that this is one of the most loving and life-affirming events, ever! Not surprising to me that Jason Sudeikis, of Ted Lasso fame, has been, and continues to be, involved all along ~ it's got heart written all over it! If you're a Ted Lasso fan and want to participate in a Win-Win-Win that will benefit Steps of Faith, see my post on how you can help us "Lift It Like Lasso!"
Thundergong week is here! We’re so excited for the sold-out show this Saturday. You can help amputees in need all week by entering our raffle, buying merch, donating to Steps of Faith, or just sharing content about the cause (including this graphic). We appreciate your support! #GiveSteps Visit Thundergong.org to support

Last night was very humbling. I had the opportunity to return to the place that gave me the tools to restart my life, and I will forever be grateful for that. Since it is Movember, which focuses on Mens Health, I have a story to share. I recently passed the 6yr mark of sobriety, but it felt a bit different this year. The first 5 years of sobriety, I took it very seriously and put all my effort into changing my frame of mind from very negative to positive. After receiving my 5-year medallion last year, things changed. I started taking every aspect of my life for granted because my life on paper looked great. I didn't take my sobriety and spirituality serious, my ego was telling me, "Jeff, you don't need that anymore. You got this." I was isolating myself and didn't reach out to my positive influences, which led to months of depression and recently planning my demise. Normal people would say, "You have a great life, how could you be depressed?" I suffer from depression because I'm not one of the normal people. I've suffered from depression since I was 13 years old, but fortunately, I now have the tools to recover. I share this because many men don't have the tools available. Please, if you're suffering inside, make a call and talk to someone. It may save your life. Take care of yourselves. 9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline #mensmentalhealth #sobriety #Movember #recovery #depression
Last night, it was an honor for Klass Drywall to attend Westover Treatment Centre's Thursday Night Meet & Greet. We were proud to present them with a donation raised through our second annual Golf Tournament, and we’re grateful to see how our community continues to come together for such an important cause. Klass Drywall President, Jeff Pomietlarz, also had the privilege of speaking at the event, where he shared his personal experiences and offered words of hope and encouragement to those in attendance. It was a truly inspiring evening, and we’re thankful to be part of a network that supports healing and growth. #GivingBack #CommunitySupport #KlassDrywallinc #WestoverTreatmentCentre #HopeInAction #construction
