Last month, Air Ambulance Victoria paramedics sharpened their water winching skills with a high-pressure training exercise alongside Babcock’s expert helicopter crews. Across seven days over Port Phillip Bay and Port Fairy, more than 40 Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance flight paramedics re-validated their water winching qualifications, as they practiced water-based techniques under simulated rescue conditions. Babcock crews conduct numerous water rescues each year, ranging from individuals swept out to sea to patient retrievals from vessels many nautical miles off the coast. A major thank you to our community partners Australian Volunteer Coast Guard St Kilda, Southern Peninsula Rescue Squad, Port Fairy Marine Rescue and Sandringham Yacht Club who generously donated their time and resources to enhance Victoria’s maritime rescue capability. 72 robots are already on the frontline 🔥 ATLAS festival, together with UNITED24 and monobank, raised 100,000,000 UAH. Via the platform, half of these funds were used to purchase robots, with the other half providing our defenders with drones. For the amount of over 13,000,000 UAH, 30 Tarhan 1C robots, 36 Tarhan 2K robots and 6 Shablya M2 robots have already been purchased and transferred to the front. They are helping defenders from 12 brigades perform tasks in active combat areas. We thank Avrora multimarket chain, Ukrnafta, Uklon, monobank, and everyone who supported this fundraiser!
