Everyone said it can’t be done. But what do you do when a severely ill patient needs to be transported to higher level care with no other option? You call VitalOne® 1-800-MedEvac. 👉🏻👉🏻 This patient was on life support, including vasopressors and an EVD - External Ventricular Drainage system. 🆘✈️ Balancing hemodynamic and respiratory status in an aircraft can be challenging itself, adding an ICP imbalance and managing the EVD device requires additional vigilance at all times. 👉🏻 Our clinical director Yanki Fekete instructed the pilots to pressurize the aircraft at sea level to best maintain ICP and hemodynamic and respiratory stabilization. This critical, high risk patient was transported seamlessly without any complications thanks to the dedicated VitalOne® 1-800-MedEvac team. We get all sorts of transports. 👉🏻 But the most difficult and delicate cases know to call VitalOne® 1-800-MedEvac. • • • • ⭐️ VitalOne® 1-800-MedEvac -The only 🌎 Global MedEvac provider that flew Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) & Berlin Heart on a Commercial Airline Transatlantic. -The only 🇺🇸 MedEvac Berlin Heart transport provider. #onecall #bedtobed #medevac

In a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) organization, routing involves planning the most efficient paths for vehicles to get patients to their destinations. Dispatch involves managing the scheduling and coordination of vehicles and drivers. Both are crucial for ensuring timely, reliable, and cost-effective transportation for individuals needing medical appointments. #spotsylvaniavirginia #nemt #fredericksburgva #fredericksburg #medicaltransportation #medicalservices #virginia

Sharing My Experience with Apollo 247's Testing Service😔 I am sharing my recent experience with Apollo 247's testing service in the hope of preventing similar situations for others✌️ I engaged Apollo 247 for a medical test for my mother, expecting thorough and accurate results. Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing. Apollo 247 not only failed to provide a complete test report but also denied my request for a full refund. The partial report I received is incomplete and essentially useless for its intended purpose, as confirmed by the Doctor. Moreover, Apollo 247's suggestion of a retest, requiring new blood samples, is impractical given my mother's already precarious blood cell count. As a consumer, this isn't just inconvenient but a significant concern regarding the quality and integrity of their services. I strongly believe in transparency and accountability, especially in healthcare services. Withholding critical information and dismissing legitimate customer concerns is unacceptable. I urge Apollo 247 to reconsider their decision and fulfill their obligation to deliver accurate and comprehensive test reports to all customers. Consumers deserve respectful treatment and assurance of high-quality service. #CustomerExperience #Healthcare #ConsumerAdvocacy #Apollo247 #ApolloHospitals

Ambulance alarming in more ways than one Just like most aspects of life in Taiwan, it looks impressive until you look beneath the surface. The private-sector-run ambulance service in Taiwan suffers from many problems that most citizens are unaware of. That hospitals collect from patients in advance for calling ambulance to then split the fee with operators. Some hospitals are obviously greedy to take half of such fee, forcing operators, whose fees have not been adjusted for 10 years, to scrimp on equipment so as to stay profitable. One operator says buying cheaper equipment is just one way to stay afloat in a market brimming of undersellers. He has heard of using industrial oxygen for patients can't tell the difference. The state-run ambulances that answer to 119 calls are not equipped with expensive ventilators that can save critically injured patients. Operators tell family in case of death that it is due to patient's physiology rather than lack of proper equipment. Private ambulances, unlike vehicles carrying rehab and handicapped patients, don't qualify for subsidies for the laws don't specify whether they are in the logistic or healthcare trade. There are even unregistered ambulances with untrained attendants on the roads. Yet the health authorities say such ambulances are not in their jurisdiction for being unregistered. The governing party is the motor vehicle branch for the vehicles have been repurposed illegally. More unsettling details are in the attached report of Aug. 7, 2024. #AmbulanceAlarmingInMoreWaysThanOne https://lnkd.in/guBk_BZc
