Whether this limit value is reached or exceeded can be estimated, among other factors from the production date, type of foam agent and storage situation. However, only a binding and product-specific PFAS analysis from the storage tank on site can provide a reliable statement on compliance with the limit values. This is because storage conditions or any contamination of PFAS from previous products in the storage tank or pumps and hoses used during filling and transfer too can influence the actual PFAS concentration.
