According to a recent report, over the last year, 43% of companies have set limits around their remote work policies or mandated a return to the office. The main reason? Employers are uneasy about the concept of remote work. So, rather than address the root causes of this concern, leaders are taking a hardline approach to flexible work schedules and pushing employees back to their desks. This may work for the short-term, but long-term employees will be pushing back. Instead of mandates and preventable churn, for sustainable success, focus on how to effectively manage remote teams.
