Very encouraged to see the changing landscape ahead of us in the science, technology & innovation space in the UK. With the Regulatory Innovation Office announcing the first 4 focus areas for active support for innovation & uptake of new tech, this is the space to watch: 1. 🧬 engineering biology 2. 🚀 space 3. 🤖 connected & autonomous technology 4. 🏥 AI & Digital in healthcare I agree and believe that these are the key areas where we will see benefits for all. Our multidisciplinary Capgemini & Cambridge Consultants teams are already leading the conversation in this space in the UK & Globally, and ready to contribute; to strategy, research, digital/tech transformation and actively participate and build the ecosystem. On a more general note, seeing regulatory bodies increasingly focus on not only regulation, but enabling & accelerating tech innovation, is incredibly positive. FDA has already made great strides for pharmaceutical industry & as we see more national initiatives like the one here from Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, sharing lessons across global industries will become key to avoid repetition & duplication of efforts.
