HAVE REPUBLICANS KILLED AMERICA? What happens when the political party that has talked rule of law for decades suddenly attacks that same rule of law? America is based on a singular concept: All Americans are equal before the law. Few, if any, other countries are based on this singular concept. Even our "mother" country, Great Britain, is not based on that singular concept. In fact, the origin of the singular concept was our desire to separate ourselves from the English system of law as it was practiced. So what happens when a major political party suddenly seeks to undermine that singular concept for the benefit of one person? It becomes the beginning of the end of the America that we all used to agree was the America we wanted, one in which every American was equal under the law. Noteworthy is that in the abandonment of our singular concept to support Donald Trump, none of the Republicans have attacked the fact that the testimony that convicted Trump came from Hope Hicks, David Pecker, and other Trump loyalists and was uncontested by Trump. These are the critical moments of Democracy. Will the psychopathic dark forces of a few override the will of the people? That is always the question in trying times for a democracy that has highlighted freewill in the individual. The critical element is will the people and their elected representatives step forward to eliminate such a power grab by these psychopaths. We have already passed two gates in this respect: 1) the Jan 6th insurrection and 2) the vote to supply aid to allies that just recently passed in the House on Saturday and passed in the Senate on Monday to be signed by Biden on Tuesday. Each time we successfully passed through one of these critical gates by which the people and our representatives learn more about how to choose the right path forward. Each event involved individuals stepping forward to risk life and liberty to complete the necessary steps to defeat the psychopaths. We are once again learning as a people, a nation, and world what it takes to preserve order among a gang of psychopaths who have seized the reins of power and control both military assets and the minds of many. Along with freewill for the individual comes a requirement for the individual to conquer personal fear.

It's about fostering a society where solutions are as much about healing and restoring as they are about preventing harm, reflecting both the gentle guidance of the Tao and the compassionate, liberating teachings of Christ within the framework of U.S. ideals of freedom and democracy.

Where High Courts Trump Supreme Courts in the Trump Trial and in Australia It seems the New York Court nomenclature is the same as the Australian states where Supreme courts are the trial courts, appealed to the Court of Appeals and in the Australian states all subordinate to the Federal High Court. Interesting. "You may notice that whenever we first mention Merchan in an article we refer to him as “New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan.” That may seem a bit strange, since we typically think of Supreme Court justices as sitting in either the nation’s highest court or states’ highest courts. But in New York, the State Supreme Court is actually the trial court. That’s the court with the biggest jurisdiction in criminal and civil matters that hears most major cases. If a New York Supreme Court decision is appealed, the appeal goes to one of the state’s four appellate divisions. And the highest court in the state — the court of last resort — is known simply as the Court of Appeals.
