Why do I network so much? I get this question a lot. Well, I'm my businesses brand, I'm the face of my businesses and so how else do you expect me to get to know my potential clients, build business relationships & friendships, if I don't go out and network? It's in my marketing plans. If it's not in yours, why not? Yesterday, I travelled up to Watford to catch up with my amazing friend, Scott Bell. Our Businesses are completely different and yet, we are both part of the same networking organisation and that's how we met. Why is he a good friend? Not, only can I talk to him about anything, we built our friendship through mutual connections and having regular/irregular catch ups and check ins. From that, we've managed to refer each other to the connections we know, to help grow each other's businesses etc. If they turn into business for each other then, that's great, if it doesn't then, never mind. We can't win them all. We may live in different counties but knowing Scott, and of course all the others apart of our networking organisation from across the UK (and world tbh), that what I have invisioned for my businesses may changed as they grow, and that my businesses are on the right paths. Networking is also great for personal growth and confidence. Going back to my question of, if you do not network, why not? You are the expert in your business, no matter what. You are passionate about what you do, if you're not then, why are you doing what you do? To grow, you need to take yourself out of your comfort zone and by putting yourself out of your confort zone it will definitely help grow your business/businesses and also your personal growth and confidence. These past 2 months have really been a roller coaster, in all aspects of my life but, if I hadn't put myself in situations outside of my confort zone, I wouldn't be where I am today.
