It’s not really a tough Choice: Money vs. Health 🤔 If I gave you the choice between receiving a significant sum of money, let’s say 10 million dollars, but you were guaranteed to develope a life-threatening disease, live with chronic pain for the rest of your life or even die within a year OR excellent health…which would you choose? I think, or at least hope, most of us would prioritize our health over financial gain without hesitation. I know I would. Your health is worth far more than any amount of money. But a lot of us continue to neglect our health by making poor dietary choices every day. Trash in equals trash out. Just recently, I decided to cut out sugars and inflammatory foods from my diet and it’s made a huge difference in just one week (one week! I was told it would take two months). Increased energy levels and reduced aches and pains have shown me the power of nutrition! I think my priorities have been all out of wack. Don’t you think with improved energy and vitality it should lead to better focus, productivity, and overall success in all areas of life?? Let's ditch unhealthy habits, prioritize your life with what’s important: God, health and family! I'm working on this. It's hard. I'm a researcher and hoard and store knowledge and have an excellent grasp of what humans need to do/ not do to live a long, healthy and wealthy, abundant life. One of my core values is self development and yet... I've done so much training and deep learning (for decades), but I'm not very good at translating it into the right actions for myself. 'Taking responsibility' sounds so easy but it's not. Why? Self sabotage (SS). THIS is what I'm about to embark on. Deep learning about SS. What is it? Why am I an expert in it? How can a well informed, intelligent, rational woman succumb to SS? More to follow..... P.S if this resonates, be assured that's it's not your fault!

Why do we often fall short of our goals, our intentions, our resolutions? When it comes to health and wealth, we have the right desires to create positive outcomes. So what holds us back, what's stopping us? I think a lot of people don't have a true purpose or why behind the changes they're trying to make. Making change is hard, we're pretty comfortable doing what we've always done. Discomfort is... uncomfortable... It's going to be challenging but every good outcome is an overcoming of some challenge we've had in the past. Here's a few approaches to getting closer to those goals: Find ways to get small wins. Positivity begets more positivity. Align your approach to money or health with the person you want to be. Get others on board with where you want to be. And support others with whatever changes they're trying to make. And have that purpose front of mind. What would you add to this list? What's your resolution and why? Happy New Year all!
