Is life all about making a living? We often think about careers just as making a living - earning money to pay the bills and afford what we need. But your career should be so much more than that. It's the craft through which you shape your life's true purpose and legacy. The most satisfied professionals see their work as more than just a job. It's their canvas for creating the impact they want to make on the world. It's their chance to spend decades doing something meaningful that moves humanity forward, even if just a little. That's why choosing a career you genuinely love matters immensely. Your career won't just be how you made a living, but how you made a life. #careergrowth #careerdevelopment #purpose

Marketing Leader | My "empathy is such a superpower" | Balancing Career and Family | Advertising and Graphics Specialist - Community Engagement at GBU Life | Opinions are my Own
It's easy to get so caught up in our career aspirations that we lose sight of other aspects that really matter - our families. Balancing career ambitions with having a strong presence as a family person is such a challenge. But it's essential for ours and our children's overall well-being and fulfillment. For me, my family is the reason behind my hard work and dedication. They are the ones I'm fighting for, striving to create a better future for. So, it's important to take a step back every once in awhile and stop the autonomous "wheels of industry" to remind us of our "why" we're building what we're building. #WorkLifeBalance #CareerAspirations #FamilyFirst #ProfessionalDevelopment #PrioritizeFamily #BalanceIsKey

What 15 years of service means to me? Goals in common, loyalty, flexibility, career growth, wellness, support in my many roles: as a liaison, as an employee, as a mother. Mutualism: I help you, you help me.

Do you stop to think about how your parents approached/went about their careers (and, yes, that most definitely includes full-time caretakers)? How has it influenced your decisions and how you go about your goals, management style, ambitions, etc.? Things change drastically from generation to generation, but there are aspects of what they did (and didn't do, in some cases) that still strongly push me in one direction or another when it comes to my #worklife. Would love to hear some thoughts on this. cc: Ken Gordon Mary Hart Alexandra Sixt Aaron Prather #generationaldifferences #careerpaths

Finding parents energizing jobs | Career coach for parents | Lead dad of 4 boys | Certified EQ coach | Former aerospace executive |
I believe that work/life separation isn’t the goal anymore for parents. Crazy, right? Here is what I mean: Who you are at work and at home are inexplicably linked. If you feel defeated at work, you won’t be able to magically wash that away when you walk through the door. Your family will know. Working parents need a job that: Fulfills them Builds them up Energizes them That will show their kids that jobs are a chance to give to the world, not a chore. That will show their kids it is important to find what motivates them and what they want to dedicate their valuable time to. I didn’t expect this to be my life’s passion, but I see now how much the world needs this. I’m building a new program to help working parents find that path to the job that allows them to be present for their family and fulfilled at work. Wherever you are on that path, I’d love to hear your story. Your struggles, your successes. This is just research - not selling anything. If you can spare 20 minutes to teach me what would help you the most, I’ll be very grateful. Send me a message or find a time on my calendar below and we can have a quick chat. Please like this post if you think this is a valuable mission to help spread the word too! I really appreciate it! #workingparents #worklifeharmony #integration
