On my usual Saturday morning at the The Home Depot talking to contractors, I noticed when people would grab a bag of "concrete mix", there wasn't one that was picked over the other. Pricing about the same but quikcrete was less at this Home Depot. Both are great products and BOTH exhibit at The World of Concrete Show every year. So, my question today is, which do you prefer? Quikrete Concrete Mix or Sakrete MAXIMIZER Concrete Mix and why? Does price effect your decision? Is it brand loyalty? 🤔 ( add in the comments below ) Let's hear it. I asked my structural engineer husband and he gave me a 20 minute answer about different properties of concrete and how he would use different products for different projects but I stopped following about 2 minutes in… sorry, I tried 😂

We have different brands here in Germany, but I usually go for the bags that are within easy reach for my back, e.g. pallets stacked with a minimum of 5-6 bags high.

The choice between two products depends on many factors, quality and price. The company's strength in marketing. Promotion. And also the client's economic outlook. Sometimes it has the upper hand.

Latest data shows that over the last year, timber continues to dominate framing materials in houses (and townhouses) in Victoria. It is a shame the datasets for other states are not at the same level of completeness yet, but we're working on that! During the renovation process of this house, we have implemented new techniques in the construction project. One of these techniques is the use of a cedar shake roof with a vent grid system. When we first saw this system, we were impressed by the benefits it offers. Using the vent grid system creates a true air gap below the cedar shingles, allowing for a space between the plywood and the shingles. This gap helps maintain the good look of the roof and prolongs its lifespan. Latest site visit by Zach Davidson and I to the Sunnyside Studios project in Queens, NY. The 44’- 46’ tall Nudura Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) walls are being topped out on the sound studios. Bauer Structures Inc. (Conor Leen) and his team have done an excellent job, particularly impressive given this is their very first ICF installation. This is also the first ICF project for Leeding Builders Group and many thanks to (James Vicari) and his team for making the project run smoothly. The exterior Dryvit Systems (Ed Podkalicki) stucco application is due start soon by the team at Bunlin LLC (Conor McDonnell). What a cool project and great team building it! Wednesday was the turn of Josh and the crew from Le Team Concreting to prep their first Biax Foundations slab for Glenvill Homes! Once again the guys loved the ease in which the system clips together with our patented Keystones, plus the simplicity of the “Auschair”, our edge beam trench mesh chair - significantly stronger than standard 3 bar chairs and cannot fall over guaranteeing the correct spacing and concrete cover.
