This is very good! I have always been of the opinion that the leader needs a combination of vision, empathy, and decisiveness to effectively guide and inspire others. 1. Vision allows a leader to set clear, strategic goals and inspire their team with a sense of purpose and direction. 2. Empathy enables a leader to understand and address the needs, concerns, and aspirations of their team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. 3. Decisiveness is crucial for making timely and effective decisions, particularly in challenging situations. But above and beyond, I’ve come to understand that integrity and accountability are also essential, as they build trust and respect, ensuring that the leader's actions align with their words and the values they espouse. All are clearly a “work-on” across most professions. I’m betting that any who read the 🇬🇧 Centre for Army Leadership paper will identify segments that require a little bit of personal reflection? I include myself in that self-analysis. ☘️🇬🇧 #ExtremeOwnership

🗺️ The entire skill of leadership mapped and translated for the needs of the British Army. 🌟The next evolution in how the British Army develops its leaders is here. Introducing the Leader Competency Framework (LCF). The best bit - we’ve made it completely open-source for the benefit of everyone. 📚 The LCF represents the culmination of the 🇬🇧 Centre for Army Leadership’s research efforts over several years, in collaboration with Defence, NATO, Allied, and industry partners.🤝 🌍 Built upon global research and tailored to meet the specific needs of the Army, the LCF provides the foundation for the professionalisation of leadership as an organisational capability, as well as a roadmap for the development of our leaders.🧭 📈From personal growth to organisational planning, the LCF will ensure our leaders are better equipped and empowered to face the leadership demands and challenges of fighting and winning wars on land today and in the future.💪 👀 Read it here: https://shorturl.at/ilCPT #Leadership #LeaderDevelopment #LeadershipDevelopment #BritishArmy #Military
