Help Me Find You! 🔍
I've been in the recruitment scene since 2016 and took it global in 2020. Now, as the Research Manager at LCR International Ltd., I dive into niche roles that often require a blend of languages and expertise, usually focused on specific fruits. It sounds easy, right? It can be, but only if ideal candidates know how to optimize their LinkedIn profiles.
I’m no LinkedIn expert, and you've probably read tons of articles on this. But as someone who spends 5-6 hours a day on LinkedIn (hunting for the best Commercial Managers, Senior Export Sales Managers, Heads of Global Sales, Technical Advisors, and many more), I want to share the key (and most practical!) information we need to see in your profile as a fresh produce professional!
1. Products: List all the products you’ve worked with. Be specific! Also, Indicate the scale of your work. Are you managing large-scale operations or boutique, high-quality produce?
2. Experience: Are you involved in technical sales, focusing on import/export, or managing a team? We need to know! Highlight any specific technical skills you possess, such as knowledge of production processes, irrigation, plant breeding, or pest management.
3. Customers: Where are your customers based? Are they local, regional, or international? This helps us understand your market reach and expertise. Who are your clients? Are they large retailers, small independent stores, or direct consumers? Don’t be shy, share the details! (only if it is not confidential, of course!)
4. Languages: Indicate your fluency levels and if you can use these languages in a business context. Can you negotiate, present, or write reports in these languages?
I have plenty more tips, but these are the most practical ones I can share for now. Have questions or want to connect with our team about current vacancies? Message us at hello@lcrint.com!
