📡 Friday Morning MWC musings 📡 Two weeks on from the Mobile World Congress I’ve been reflecting on what I saw and took away from this year’s event.   1.Every industry Wenham Carter serves is now represented at MWC – from mobility to health, heavy industry to manufacturing. This wasn’t the case even a few years back. The convergence of industries is a reminder of how core connectivity is to progress across all areas of tech and science. 2.Of all the applications of gen AI presented and discussed this year, Ameca the humanoid robot was the most memorable…and thought-provoking. I watched it field questions from a group of 50 people, identifying and engaging with everyone individually. At one point, over the cacophony of voices and general melee, it casually observed that someone had turned the ambient music up. Mind blown. (This didn’t even raise an eyebrow in our AI and Robotics team). 3. After a drop in attendance post-pandemic, it’s great to see MWC bigger and better than ever. This year’s congress hammered home what an incredible time it is to be working across our industries, and the power of human connection in driving progress. Here’s Ameca doing ..its(?)…thing. #WenhamCarter #MWC #TelecomsJobs #GenAI #5G #Robotics
