Your company’s mission should be the invisible thread that ties every meeting together. Mission is what fuels a team's purpose. Make it tangible by weaving it into every meeting agenda. Open with the mission, bring it up when discussing strategy, and close by tying the meeting's outcomes back to it. This isn’t just a “nice to have” – it’s what keeps your team connected to why they’re there. When your mission is a regular part of team dialogue, it no longer feels distant; it becomes the reason behind every decision. At your next meeting, bring your mission to life – and see how the team’s energy shifts.

Focus isn’t just about you—it’s something your whole team can rally around, especially as the energy of the new year starts to fade. If your team feels like they’re losing steam or getting pulled in too many directions, take a moment to pause and realign: ✨ Ask, “What’s one value we want to keep embodying this year?” ✨ Reflect on, “What’s one goal we’re working toward together?” ✨ Get curious with, “What’s one question we should keep asking to stay on track?” When everyone’s clear on what matters most, it’s easier to refocus and stay on task. Saying no to distractions becomes second nature when you’ve already said yes to a shared vision.

4moExcellent point, Richie! Imagine if every meeting felt like a mini-mission rally. But here's a twist: what if we also encouraged team members to share how they connect with the mission? It could be a game-changer in terms of motivation and ownership!
