T-MINUS 15 DAYS until Principal Photography begins on "All That Is Evil." It's been five years since I've last directed a feature film! (Except a couple feature-length documentaries — this is entirely different though, as it's narrative and based on a screenplay I wrote myself.) While we are mostly geared up to take on the production, we are looking to cover a few additional expenses that will elevate this project to the next level. What a great job they did on the old Tramsheds site in Glebe. It's very easy to forget what it once looked like as my old medium format film image shows. Everyone snuck in at some stage to take a sneaky pic or two. What is a SnorriCam shot in movies? This device is used by filmmakers and they rig it to the body of an actor. The SnorriCam shot allows the camera to face the actor directly so that when they walk, they do not appear to move, but everything around them does move. The SnorriCam shot can be jarring, sure. Why is it called SnorriCam? The SnorriCam is named after two Icelandic photographers and directors, Einar Snorri and Eiður Snorri, who worked together under the name Snorri Bros (but are not otherwise related).
