We’re thrilled to see even more communities gain access to flexible and efficient transportation options, connecting residents to essential services and the broader transit network. It’s been incredible to see the success of Calgary Transit On Demand in Livingston and Carrington over the past few years, and we’re looking forward to supporting its continued growth across the City of Calgary.

🔔 New funding opportunity! $607 million is now available for projects aimed at enhancing transportation infrastructure. Both planning and capital construction projects are eligible, with priority given to initiatives improving access to jobs, healthcare, and education. Microtransit and planning software can both be eligible expenses for this grant when used in developing and implementing an action plan.   Via was honored to have Meaghan Scanlon MP join us to announce the recent extension to the Translink On Demand Service on Australia's Gold Coast alongside Via's Australia Partnerships Manager Timothy Harding. Minister Scanlon has been a champion of this service for its ability to bring efficient, equitable and cost effective access to transport services to members of the community on the Gold Coast. The program's new intermodal features are seamlessly connecting passengers to public transport options beyond just the Gold Coast area. Gold Coasters love it, with almost 200,000 rides taken so far.
