Someone said to me today, “ Wow you really structure and give your intern projects and experiences. Most interns do things someone doesn’t want to do or doesn’t have time for”. This person isn’t wrong in how interns are viewed. I’ve been in various organizations and have seen first hand. But this burns me up! 🔥 Internships should be more than just tasks; they should be transformative experiences that empower young adults to explore their potential, gain practical skills, and discover their passion. They need to know what careers look like outside of the text book version.
