Burn the old, harvest the new and soar higher!⛰️ Lohri marks the end of winter and the arrival of longer days; symbolizing new beginnings, prosperity, and joy. Makar Sankranti, with its kite-flying tradition, celebrates the transition of the Sun, a reminder of the constant cycle of growth and change. ☀️ Since the festival (Lohri) falls on a Monday (today), and Monday being a working day for all of us, my friends and I decided to celebrate it on Sunday instead (after all, celebrations are all about gathering with loved ones, right?). We decorated the house, dressed in beautiful traditional clothes, danced on the beats of dhol, ate yummy food and performed rituals around the bonfire. 😃 I couldn’t help but reflect on how much these festivals teach us valuable life lessons. They are a reminder of celebration of hard work, community, and renewal; values that resonate in both our personal and professional lives. 📊 In short: 🔥 Lohri’s Bonfire inspires us to let go of what holds us back. Whether it’s outdated strategies, doubts, or failures. It’s about making space for fresh ideas and new beginnings. 🌾 The Harvest is a reminder that consistent effort always pays off. Like a farmer nurturing their crops, our professional goals need focus, dedication, patience, and teamwork to bear fruit. 🪁 Flying Kites during Sankranti reflects our aspirations.
